When a longstanding client approached Juno with a specialized transportation project, our team began the process the same way we approach every major project—with collaboration, planning, and a clear understanding of the cargo requirements.
Working closely with the client, the Juno Project Cargo team conducted detailed planning sessions to develop a comprehensive transportation strategy. Cargo dimensions, weights, pickup schedules, delivery requirements, and equipment needs were carefully documented to create an efficient and safe load plan.
Once the project was underway, our procurement and operations teams analyzed each shipment to identify overweight and oversized cargo requirements. Specialized transportation equipment was sourced through our network of trusted carriers, while routing plans and permit applications were coordinated to ensure compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
As with many large-scale project cargo movements, unexpected challenges arose during transit. In one instance, a permitted 19-axle trailer was denied access after reaching a specific state due to changing regulatory requirements. Rather than allowing the project to be delayed, the Juno team quickly developed an alternative transportation solution, ensuring the cargo continued to its destination with minimal disruption.
Throughout the project, daily coordination meetings, shipment monitoring, and proactive communication allowed all stakeholders to remain informed of progress and potential issues. Clients received regular updates and real-time visibility into shipment milestones, providing confidence that critical cargo remained on schedule.
