Juno's Project Cargo team successfully managed the transportation, delivery, and installation of production line equipment for a major Tier 1 automotive supplier in Monroe, Georgia.

The project began in Japan, where each piece of equipment was carefully monitored and coordinated throughout the packaging and export process. To maximize efficiency and control costs, larger machinery was shipped via roll-on/roll-off (RORO) vessel service, while smaller components were transported using full container load (FCL) shipments. This tailored transportation strategy ensured that each piece of equipment moved using the most suitable mode while maintaining alignment with the overall project schedule.

Upon arrival at the Port of Savannah, the cargo was transferred to specialized domestic transportation equipment, including step deck trailers and 53-foot full truckload vehicles, for final delivery to the manufacturing facility in Georgia.

Beyond transportation, Juno provided on-site project management to support the final stages of the installation process. A dedicated site manager coordinated equipment deliveries, oversaw rigging operations, and worked closely with installation teams to ensure machinery was positioned according to the production line requirements. Continuous coordination between transportation providers, rigging crews, and factory personnel helped maintain project timelines and minimize disruptions during installation.

The project concluded only after all equipment had been successfully installed, packaging materials removed, and the factory floor cleared for production. By managing every phase of the operation—from international transportation and customs coordination to on-site delivery and installation oversight—Juno provided a seamless solution that helped the client bring their production line online efficiently and on schedule.
