About WINGS

WINGS Program, Inc., established in 1985, provides a pathway to independence for individuals and families impacted by domestic violence. What began as a nonprofit housing agency has grown into a comprehensive support system, offering emergency shelter, transitional housing, and essential resources like food and clothing for those in crisis.

Recognizing that safety is just the first step, WINGS has expanded its services to address the full scope of survivors’ needs. Today, the organization connects clients with counseling, legal assistance, mentoring, life skills training, and career support—helping them move beyond violence toward long-term stability and self-sufficiency.

Leaving an abusive situation is a courageous and often difficult decision. WINGS is committed to walking alongside survivors every step of the way, providing the tools, support, and hope needed to build a safer, more independent future—because no one should have to face that journey alone.

Supporting WINGS: Empowering Survivors of Domestic Violence Through Donations and Advocacy

In celebration of Earth Day, the Juno Cares Committee launched a Clothing Donation Drive from April 8th to April 26th, encouraging everyone to declutter and give back to the community. Instead of letting unused clothing end up in landfills, we collected gently used garments to support WINGS Program, Inc., an organization dedicated to helping survivors of domestic violence.

This initiative not only promoted sustainability by reducing waste but also made a meaningful impact in the lives of those in need. Thanks to the generosity of our employees, we were able to contribute to both a cleaner planet and a stronger, more supportive community.

Together, we proved that small actions can lead to big changes—one garment at a time!

"Donating my clothes felt meaningful knowing they could bring comfort and support to someone in need. It's a small gesture that can make a big impact."
