Each piece was carefully monitored as it was prepared for transportation from a packaging warehouse in Japan. Larger equipment was loaded onto a RoRo (roll on/roll off) vessel while smaller equipment was shipped more economically using FCL (full container load) carriers. Both types of shipments arrived at the Savannah, Georgia port and were loaded onto step deck trucks, and 53’ FTL (full truck load) trucks for delivery to the factory location. Upon arrival, Juno’s site manager oversaw the machinery rigging and installation of both large and small equipment. The project was successfully completed when all debris and packaging had been cleared from the factory floor.
