All of Juno Logistics’ contracted warehouses, vendor facilities, airline/vessel carriers and overseas partners must participate in our intensive security initiative process to be accepted as a Juno approved business partner. All of our approved facilities employ security standards such as perimeter and electronic fences, lighted exteriors, locked access points and closed circuit camera monitoring. Customers with high-valued products, as an example, often require specially secured equipment such as high-fenced covered cages, satellite-controlled trucks (GPS) with protective seal-locked doors. Freight requiring customs control is fenced-in within warehouse areas.

From the moment Juno accepts customer’s freight for transport, the cargo is monitored as it passes through each step of the shipment’s journey. Containers are sealed, numbers notated on all shipping documents and the shipment is checked at key gateway points for any sign of tampering.

Because Juno Logistics performs operations on a global scale, we have several certifications in air, ocean and customs brokerage security compliance standards and we actively participate in government and industry programs to comply with specific requirements to enhance security and to speed the transit of shipments through regulatory controls:

Protection - Cargo can be protected against all risk of physical loss or damage from any external cause irrespective of percentage of loss.  Coverage commences from the time the goods leave the shipper and/or supplier and continues through the transit process to the final destination.
